Welcome to my site! I’ve written two books (as of yet unpublished): A Fan’s Calendar, a sprawling, diverse look at essentially everything I’m interested in regarding popular culture, and St. Louis to Liverpool, a concise, focused celebration of my favorite rock ‘n’ roller Chuck Berry, his 1964 masterpiece that I took my title from, and how it fits into his overall career and the pioneering trajectory of the genre overall. I won’t be including excerpts in this space, but the people, things, and trends I celebrate here will no doubt feature some overlap with the themes and ideas in my longer works. Enjoy!
