A Fan’s Calendar is a sprawling, diverse look at essentially everything I’m interested in regarding popular culture: essentially a memoir primarily focused on interests and enthusiasms. My follow-up work (still in progress) is a detailed celebration of my favorite rock ‘n’ roller Chuck Berry and his 1964 masterpiece St. Louis to Liverpool, examining how it fits into his overall career and the pioneering trajectory of the genre overall.
For the most part, I won’t be including excerpts in this space, but the people, things, and trends I examine here will no doubt feature some overlap with the themes and ideas in my books. Enjoy!
